Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of this article is to identify effective management strategies for innovation-investment processes in agricultural land use within the framework of the circular economy.

Results. The analysis of managing the innovation-investment component within the context of agricultural land use of agrarian enterprises under the circular economy is an important step in developing new strategic approaches. The economic activity analysis of leading agricultural enterprises revealed significant advantages of implementing innovative technologies aimed at minimising soil cultivation. These technologies not only enhance labor productivity but also reduce operational expenses on fuels and lubricants, depreciation of machinery and tractor fleets, and spare parts, contributing to the reduction of total costs per unit of treated area. It has been proven that, in the context of the circular economy, the management of the innovation-investment component of agricultural land use requires not only the application of advanced technologies but also the development of adequate infrastructure. This includes scientific research, transformation of scientific and technological developments to the level of ready-made innovative projects and their implementation in production. In addition to technical provision, the improvement of the land resource management system is necessary, which should include fostering the development of science and innovation, creating conditions for small innovative entrepreneurship, and forming state orders for research on the organisation of rational land use.

Scientific novelty. This study expands existing knowledge by implementing a comprehensive analysis and considering the interrelationships between innovations, investments, and effective use of land resources. The research results emphasise the need to reform infrastructural and management aspects, which include the integration of advanced technologies and creating conditions for innovative entrepreneurship.

Practical value. The practical value of this research lies in developing strategic recommendations for agrarian enterprises aimed at integrating innovations and investments in the field of land use. The results of the analysis contribute to the improvement of management practices, optimisation of production processes, and cost reduction, which enhances the competitiveness of enterprises. The implementation of these strategies not only improves economic efficiency but also ensures sustainable use of natural resources, promotes environmental conservation, and implements the principles of the circular economy in practice.
