About indexing in Research Commons on the Web of Science platform

2026-04-16

In September 2025, Clarivate expanded its platform content by creating a collection of open source journal publications Research Commons. This new database is hosted alongside the Web of Science Core Collection on the main Web of Science platform. Research Commons is not part of the Web of Science Core Collection and does not provide journals with official indexing status. At the same time, the presence of metadata in Research Commons is important for promoting content and improving the visibility of high-quality open access journals, and creates additional opportunities for increasing citations.

All articles of the Journal of Innovations and Sustainability are presented in the Research Commons database. Each article has a separate page with metadata. This provides publications with a wider audience and creates new opportunities for integration into the international scientific space.

We invite you to submit articles!
